Ricky is a senior paralegal, supporting clients on corporate and commercial matters, including cross-border acquisitions and multi-jurisdictional restructurings across the technology, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, and real estate sectors.

His M&A experiences pans the entire transaction process, from conducting legal due diligence, through to drafting share purchase agreements and implementing bespoke constitutional documents with sophisticated exit waterfalls.

‍

Ricky will complete his Qualifying Work Experience at Merali Beedle in August 2026, and after sitting the SQE2 Assessment, he will qualify as a solicitor.

‍

Before joining Merali Beedle, Ricky gained experience at leading City law firms, including Linklaters, Slaughter and May, TLT, and Macfarlanes. He also has significant litigation experience in financial services disputes and regulatory experience supporting FCA enforcement investigations.

‍

Ricky was a finalist in the Aspiring Solicitors Commercial Awareness Competition (top 1% of 2,400 participants). He holds an LLM in Legal Practice (Distinction) from BPP University and an LLB (Hons) from City, University of London, where he co-founded the Pro Bono Society.

Outside of law, Ricky is an accomplished skydiver with over 500 jumps, a qualified light aircraft pilot with over 250 logged hours, and an experienced scuba diver.
