Emma’s property law career spans nearly 20 years and includes both private and public sector experience. She joins Merali Beedle from Knights where she had been a Partner in the Birmingham Real Estate Team since 2024, having spent nearly 10years at Thursfields and 7 years before that as a local authority property lawyer in the legal department at Worcestershire County Council.
Emma advises on strategic land transactions negotiating option / promotion agreements and conditional contracts, predominantly for landowners but also for developers. As well as residential development she has experience in solar development projects.
Emma also undertakes a broad range of real estate transactions acting in the sale/acquisition and re-financing of commercial premises; and landlord and tenant matters. Clients include business owners, investors, lenders, landlords and occupiers, who know Emma for her pragmatic and commercial approach.
