EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS

Bespoke quotes will always be given prior to commencing the work.

The cost for this work begins at £15,000 plus VAT and ranges to £400,000 plus VAT, depending on the complexity of the case.

Frequent disbursements paid on your behalf are:

  • Bank transfer fee (per transfer) £30 plus VAT
  • Online ID Check (per entity) £12-£20 plus VAT
  • Fees for representation at Tribunal (Counsel’s fees) estimated between £1,000 plus VAT per day and £10,000 plus VAT per day

Your solicitor will work with you to support the case up to Tribunal with a view to settlement.

A straightforward case of unfair dismissal may include a one-day hearing and simple evidence.

Additional issues that increase complexity may include:

Simple cases can be brought to conclusion within a few weeks of the initial engagement. The most complex cases can take a few years if court hearings are involved.

The hourly rate averages £300 - £550 per hour plus VAT.
